Running IT and the online shop for easyCut!
easyCut! needed an IT manager for a small office: seven PCs, a firewall and two Windows 2003 servers. By December 2018 I had also rebuilt their website as a custom WooCommerce shop, which I still manage.

The situation
In the summer of 2018 a friend referred me to the CEO of easyCut!, who was looking for an IT manager for a small office: a network of seven PCs, a firewall and two Windows 2003 servers that needed management.
Towards the end of 2018 the CEO asked whether I could also help with a new website — the old one was obsolete and needed a face‑lift at the very least.
What I did
- Evaluated the setup and took over IT management, on condition that we allocated a budget for software and hardware upgrades.
- Improved the network and provided technical support for the owners and their staff.
- Drafted the layout with their graphic designer in Photoshop, then built a WordPress theme with exactly the same look and feel.
- Built a custom eCommerce platform on WooCommerce, with a custom server setup that keeps it fast, secure and compliant with current eCommerce standards.
The result
The new shop went live in December 2018. I am still managing and improving it, and still running easyCut!'s IT.
