Hands‑on infrastructure lead, based in Mallorca
I'm Mălin — Romanian, living in Palma de Mallorca. I started in managed hosting at Lunarpages in 2011, worked my way up to team lead, and co‑founded Palma Solutions in 2014.
I got my first PC at twelve, in 1996, and learned it from the MS‑DOS prompt. Before Mallorca I ran my own IT support and repair business in Romania, Outfit IT&C, from 2007 to 2010.
Today I work directly with companies as their outsourced IT and infrastructure lead. You always talk to the person doing the work — and I answer when things break.
Prevent, don't firefight
Monitoring, patching and tested backups — so the 2 a.m. call doesn't happen.
Document everything
Every system, password and decision written down, in a place you own.
One accountable person
No ticket ping‑pong. One name, one number, clear response times.
