Who is responsible for your data

The contact form

When you send the Hire me form, I receive what you typed in it: your name, company, email address, phone number (if you gave one), the kind of help you need, team size, timeframe and your message.

• Why: to reply to your request and, if you ask for it, prepare a proposal.
• Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox on the form, and the steps you ask me to take before a possible contract (GDPR article 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
• Where it goes: the form is delivered to my mailbox by email, and a copy of each message is kept on the server that runs this site as a backup, outside the public website.
• How long: for as long as needed to handle your request and any work that follows from it. Ask me and I will delete it sooner.
• Who else sees it: nobody. I do not sell or share it. My hosting and email providers only store it on my behalf.

The form also contains two anti-spam checks (a hidden field and the time it took to fill in). They do not identify you.

Statistics

The site counts visits with Matomo, which I host myself on piwik.palmasolutions.net. It is set up without cookies and does not run if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Matomo receives the technical data of each page request — IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the page you came from — and uses it only for visit statistics that are not shared with anyone.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to malin@cenusa.me.

If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
